Fishing in the Woods:
I started this piece with a blank piece of paper and had no idea of how it would turn out. I started with a few lines at the top of the picture and it took a life off its own. I wanted to draw someplace peaceful, where I would like to go to fish. While drawing trees, there are no shortcuts. The tree bark needs to look authentic. Each leaf needs to be drawn separately and the shadows and vanes need to be done properly to look like a forest. This picture took about 120 hours to finish.
